I have now bought 2 cars from this dealership. The most recent is the 2018 Nissan Rogue SV. Now, I am spoiled with the ride of my other car, a 2000 Buick Park Avenue, which has the smoothest ride of any car I have ever driven. (No, I would not trade in the 18 year old Buick, its too good). The Nissan Rogue, however, is also very comfortable with those "NASA" developed zero gravity seats. While "comfort" is important, my reason for buing the Rogue was not "just" comfort..its also safety. And the Rogue has most of the important safety features on this lower end model. Lots of car companies sell safety tech, but only on the high end models costing a small fortune. For example, I love the Rogue's blind spot warning, which has already saved me from a potentailly fatal crash. I simply did not see the other car in my blind spot, but saw the little orange/yellow light and I thought, "gee there must be a car there I dont see." Sure enough, there was a car right in my blind spot, just like the light indicated. I also cant speak highly enough of the Rogue's backup camera. It shows all around the car, not just behind you!! I certainly dont want to back over my grandchildren whether they are "behind" or to the side of my car, or even in front, where I cant see them. The "bonus" is the heated seats and heated steering wheel. I also love, however, the adaptice cruise control, which keeps a safe distance between me and the car ahead, while remaining in cruise control mode. I like BT Nissan, as they offer what Im looking for: A lot for my money, and no BS. Another Nissan dealer in this area insists on trying to low ball my trade while expecting me to pay "above sticker" for his. BT did not do this, and offered a fair price for my trade as well as a dicount on the Rogue WITHOUT trying to force me to stand on my head in the F and I office in order to get a fair price. If you want to practice up on your "beating up your younger brother" skills, then go to the other dealerships as they will make you fight to try to get a fair price. BT doesnt do that and respects my time, understanding I dont want to spend all day negotiating for a fair price.
Came for a recall on fleet van and they inspected it. then because they had the part in stock replaced it. All in about an hour .
On Monday, November 26th after what I thought might have been an issue with the CVT in my 2013 Nissan Altima, I stopped by the service department at Beau Townsend Nissan in Vandalia, OH. I did not have an appointment and it was later in the afternoon. They asked me if I had an hour and they would check it out. David Frasher, my service writer was excellent. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by name (surprise!) I was treated like I was the most important customer there. I was in the office of the General Manager Jim Morris, when David came in with the news. He asked to speak with me and my reply was "go ahead, I'm already sitting down." As I suspected it was the CVT transmission and it needed to be replaced. The car was out of warranty and was getting close to 79K in miles. Without asking, the general manager and the service writer went into action. Mr. Morris came back to me with a phone number for Nissan Customer Care line. He gave me very useful information to make sure I provided to them over the phone. The set me up with a beautiful Nissan Rogue as a loaner car. I made the call that afternoon and things were put into motion. Dave even called back to see if I had called since there are things the dealership has to provide the engineers at Nissan. Let me cut to the quick. After the information I provided over the phone and the essential information David gave them, Nissan Customer Care called me back and 'offered' to pay eighty percent (80%) of the repair costs. I was elated to say the least. Beau Townsend went to work on it right away after the approval from Nissan. My brakes were in bad shape and Dave called me and told me the MM left on the. I had them replace the brakes. I had a coupon for a 50% off oil change and had that done also since it was already there. For those of you reading this and know replacing the CVT is over $3500, I left the dealership on that Friday (after thinking it would be Monday or Tuesday) with a total bill of all of the work, my 20%, new brakes, tires rotated, oil and filter change and my bill was right at $1000. I cannot say enough for the commitment of service to their customers from Service Adviser David Frasher and the General Manager Jim Morris. Ms. Flannagan the cashier was a great assistance also.** As a footnote, it's all about how you present yourself also. Don't go in mad, angry and take out your issue(s) on them. They are there to help you. The same goes if you have to call Nissan Customer Care. Kindness on your part goes along way and costs you nothing. You never know the rewards you will get in return.Again, a HUGE THANKS to the entire team at Beau Townsend Nissan. If you need a car, stop in and see Jim Morris, need service, see David Frasher or any member of the service team.
Tom at service is awesome allways helpful
Every time I go in for service I am greeted promptly. They go over everything so I know what to expect, keep me updated on progress, make suggestions if some extra is needed, and usually get me out within the time frame promised. Comfortable seating, TV, WiFi area to do work, vending machines... Very nice for the customer!
My family and I I traveled to Dayton from Atlanta to visit my husband’s family for Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving eve we ran over fallen debris (firewood) from a truck in front of us! We had major damage to the undercarriage of our 2009 Nissan Murano. Beau Townsend Collision was listed as one of the suggested repair shops by our insurance co. Since there was no body damage, we were referred to the service dept. We took our SUV in on Friday after Thanksgiving and met with Tom who informed us that he would take care of our SUV. He also informed us of a recall, that he would handle that as well. Our insurance adjuster was not able to get out there until the following Monday. Due to the extent of the damage, there were supplements sent over to the insurance co after the initial estimate, requiring the adjuster to come out to review again. Our SUV was not complete until the following Friday. Although it was a time-consuming process that kept us on an extended Thanksgiving vacation, Tom was in constant communication with us and kept us informed with details! When we get ready to purchase our next Nissan vehicle, we may have to take a trip to Beau Townsend, as they provided service that outshined the Nissan dealerships that we have dealt with in Georgia!!
