2021 Nissan Titan vs. Toyota Tundra
The 2021 Nissan Titan and 2021 Toyota Tundra are classic takes on the traditional three-quarter-ton pickup. Both offer a single and very potent V8 engine with good towing and payload capacities. Automatic transmissions send the power to either the rear wheels only or all four with an optional 4X4 drivetrain. Each offers your choice between two extended cabins with four doors and seating for up to five or six passengers. The Tundra is rated for an estimated 17 mpg on the highway and 13 in the city to the Titan's 21 mpg on the highway and 16 in town.

Titan Power Wins Out
The Titan wins with a potent 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque on hand from its 5.6-liter V8. A nine-speed transmission helps it to tow up to 9,400 pounds. The Tundra produces up to 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Titan tows between 9.210 and 9,400 pounds. The Tundra tows between 8,800 and 10,200 pounds, and both carry up to 1,700 pounds of payload.
